About the event

Welcome to the 5th Bauxite Residue Valorization and Best Practices Conference (BR2025), to be held as part of the TMS 2025 Annual Meeting & Exhibition (TMS2025).

Continuing the conference series that started in 2015, this time we join forces with TMS and we give the floor to the most creative, innovative, thought-provoking ideas regarding bauxite residue valorization.

We invite works at different technology readiness levels, including industrial applications. Submit your abstract by July 15 to present your work at this year’s conference. Selected papers presented at the event will be invited for submission to the Journal of Sustainable Metallurgy.

Admission to BR2025 will be included for all registrants of TMS2025. By co-locating the two events, participants will have access to a broader network of professionals, technical presentations, and opportunities.
